De Ronde van Oeste Portlandia
A ride in honor of De Ronde van Vlaanderen
April 4, 2009

An estimated 500 cyclists set off on the 3rd running of the Ronde van Oeste Portlandia (Tour of West Portland). A welcome break in the weather brought sunny skies and warm temperatures after a long, cold, and wet winter. This ride was a test of 19 (or so) of the nastiest, steepest climbs that West Portland has to offer. Unsanctioned, unsupported, unrewarded, and unsponsored, it was a ride that started in NW Portland and ended at the top of Council Crest.
