The 5th edition of this classic ride saw large numbers of riders gathering in the industrial area of Northwest Portland under mostly sunny skies. A test of climbing stamina, the Ronde van West Portlandia takes its challengers on a tour of 19 (or so) of the steepest, nastiest climbs in the west hills of Portland. Beginning with a short trip on Dirty 30 and ending at one of the best views of the city, this unsanctioned, unsupported, unsponsorsed ride challenges everyone who attempts it.
