The fourth running of the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships hit Seattle like a fierce winter storm. Which is also what happened with the weather. The qualifying race on Saturday started and ended at a brewery and had racers circling Beacon Hill, completing challenges at several stops. For those who didn't qualify, roller races awaited them later in the evening. Sunday dawned with wet and windy weather, giving racers a nice mud bath to compete in. The main event saw costumed riders battling it out for the golden fleece (bikini) and as many beer handups as they could handle.
